Brikkers is a new, fast and challenging game that can be played by anyone.

You might think it looks like tic-tac-too, and yes, you are right for a bit.
You also might think it looks lik 4-in-a-row and again, yes, you are right for a bit.
You even might think it looks a bit like checkers. And een then you are a little bit right. BUT,
Brikkers is simple, easy to learn yet challenging because there is more to it then meets the eye. Just try it, have fun, and discover the tactics you can learn and use.
At this moment I am the world-champion. How come? Well, if you make up a game and you are the one with the most practice, you are the world champion 😉
I challenge you not to make that a status quo. You probably can do better is a short while!
GOOD LUCK

Because a game of Brikkers can be over quickly, it is great for playing a tournament in a class for example.
Or to challenge each other online. At this moment however, no online multi-player game has been created yet, but we hope to have that realized in the near future.

The game of Brikkers is played on a square board with 9 cutouts.
Furthermore, you play with 2 x 20 stones which we call ‘gems’. Each player gets his own color of gems.
Goal of the game
The first player to have 3 in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) with at least 3 gems of his color in each hole of the row is the winner.
What to do
- Place 3 gems of yourself in the holes.
- Move 1 gem of yourself or the other to a hole of your choice.
Rules
- Always place FIRST, THEN MOVE.
- At no time may there be more than 5 gems in a hole.
Note that there are a few additional rules
- In the first turn of the player who starts, only placing and not moving is allowed.
- The last turn in which gems can be placed, only 2 gems can be placed, so place 2, move 1.
- If all gems are in the field, only 1 gem is moved each turn.
- You may always choose whether to move one of your own gems or one of the other gems.
- If you have moved, say the number you can make from the two holes between which you moved. For example, if you move a gem from hole 1 to hole 6, then when you pass on your turn you say 16 or 61. These two holes are forbidden holes for the next turn and nothing may be removed from them or added to them by the next player. At the end of his turn the next player says another number. Then there are two new forbidden holes.
